The Lothal wolves gave him a mysterious tablet to help him on his quest. Thanks to the Lothal Wolves, Ezra found purpose after losing his Jedi master. We pick up right we left off, as the Ghost Crew figures out the symbols on the mysterious tablet. Sabine tells Ezra that she can find out what the symbols mean if they were in the Jedi temple. Unfortunately, the rebels are without a ship, and the Jedi momentum is far off north. The young Jedi reaches out to the Force and summons the Loth Wolves. The final season of Star Wars Rebels has been full of surprises, from Kanan's shocking death to Ahsoka's surprising return. These are fundamental moments from the series - especially for Kanan and Ezra's relationship - and they remind us how close-knit a family the Ghost crew really became over these past four seasons. As for the voices, these can be heard in tonight's second episode, "A World Between Worlds", when Ezra opens the portal to the surreal Force realm that exists outside of time and space. It is a truly fascinating collection of quotes from all throughout the Star War s saga, from as early as Attack of the Clones all the way to The Force Awakens. Unfortunately, you seem to be letting it all go.
Wolves and a Door
This scene shows off some of the things I liked best about this episode and the one that follows: the music and the scope of the scenes. The camera lovingly shows each character interacting with the loth-wolves in their own way big, fluffy Zeb being the most nervous around big, fluffy creatures continues to make me laugh. The loth-wolves bound across the plains in true The Lion King fashion, bringing the characters through the same kind of time-space distortion Ezra experienced before.
Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Episode 12 Review: Wolves And A Door
Star Wars Rebels is barrelling toward its series finale, premiering two episodes on Monday — "Wolves and a Door" and "A World Between Worlds" — that significantly expanded the power and possibility of the Force. Searching for guidance after the death of his master Kanan Jarrus in episode "Jedi Night," Ezra Bridger opens the Jedi Temple on Lothal, an ancient structure that Emperor Palpatine believes to be a "conduit between the living and the dead. He soon discovers that the Lothal Jedi Temple is more than a nexus of time and space, but also a portal through which time can be manipulated. Through the portal he witnesses the duel between Ahsoka Tano and Darth Vader, all the way back from Season 2. But instead of allowing her to die at the hands of her former master, Anakin Skywalker, Bridger pulls Tano to safety, yanking her forward through time.
